Pocket Spring

Independent pocket springs are individually encased in non-woven fabric bags and then arranged and connected. This design allows each spring to move and bear weight independently, providing precise support according to the weight and curves of different parts of the body, effectively relieving body pressure. Its greatest advantage is excellent "anti-interference"; even if a partner turns over or gets in and out of bed at night, it will not disturb the other's sleep, making it very suitable for light sleepers.

3-Zone Individual Pocket Spring Mattress

Three-zone independent pocket spring mattresses, based on independent springs, divide the mattress into three different support zones according to the human body structure: head and shoulders, waist and hips, and legs. As different parts of the human body have different weights, the three-zone design uses springs of varying firmness, providing stronger support for the heavier waist and hips, while keeping lighter areas soft. This ensures the spine remains naturally straight during sleep, effectively preventing back pain.

Pure sponge mattress

Pure foam mattresses are made entirely from materials such as high-density foam or memory foam, and contain no internal metal springs. These mattresses are lightweight, soft to the touch, and offer excellent conformity, perfectly contouring to the body's curves and effectively distributing body pressure. Pure foam mattresses excel in sound absorption and vibration reduction, making no noise when you turn over. However, traditional foam has weaker breathability, so it is recommended to choose models with cooling technology to reduce the feeling of stuffiness.

Compressed mattress

A compressed mattress (also known as a bed-in-a-box mattress) is a product that is vacuum-sealed, compressed, and rolled into a box by a machine. This design completely solves the problem of transportation, making it easy to navigate even narrow staircases or elevators, and is ideal for modern urban environments. Users simply unbox it, and the mattress will automatically expand back to its original shape within a few hours. With current mature technology, most materials can be made into compressed versions without compromising their support.

Mattress Buying Guide

In Hong Kong, mattress sizes are mainly categorized into Single, Double, Queen, and King. However, it's important to note that mattress size standards in Hong Kong may vary by brand.

For more details, please refer to the mori home mattress size comparison table above.

This depends on your sleeping habits, body weight, and spinal health.

  • Side sleepers: A soft to medium-firm mattress is suitable to relieve pressure on the shoulders and hips.
  • Back/stomach sleepers: A medium-firm to firm mattress is suitable to provide adequate lumbar support and prevent the spine from curving downwards.
  • Heavier individuals: Require a firmer mattress with higher support; lighter individuals can choose a softer option.

Hong Kong people generally prefer medium-firm mattresses, believing them to be better for the spine, but the most important thing is to try them out in person.
