Brand Story

Mori Home The team's original intention and persistence in solid wood

In this fast-paced city, we still believe that life needs warmth and that furniture should carry emotions.

When most people choose convenience and speed, we chose a seemingly roundabout way - personally visit every solid wood factory, touch the texture of each piece of wood with our hands, and feel the birth process of each piece of furniture with our hearts.

This is not just a business, but also a commitment to quality of life. In Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money, it is not easy to run a solid wood furniture business, but we believe that every family deserves a piece of furniture that can accompany them for a lifetime.

The boss personally visits the factory to check every production detail

As the founder of the brand, I know that in order to provide customers with the best quality products, I must personally visit the cooperating factories and have a deep understanding of every production process. This is not only a responsibility to customers, but also an adherence to the brand promise.

Carefully selected wood

Selecting wood is an art and a responsibility. The cost of using solid wood as furniture material is indeed much higher than that of ordinary boards. However, we will not compromise because of cost considerations. Every piece of wood must meet our standards - no cracks, no insects, and beautiful texture. These seemingly simple requirements require rich experience and keen vision.

"Professional and safe"

The wood we import has obtained the Chain of Custody (CoC) certificate issued by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

The COC certificate is issued to manufacturers, suppliers and sellers of forest products. The content of the certificate covers the entire manufacturing process of the wood product, ensuring that it meets the standards from the beginning of wood mining to the finished product.

Cutting: The art of precision

The cutting process determines the basic shape and structural stability of the furniture. The staff will carefully check the flatness and dimensional accuracy of each cut surface to ensure that the parts fit perfectly during the subsequent assembly process to avoid affecting the overall structure due to improper cutting.

Watching a whole log being cut into different parts is like watching a dream gradually take shape. Each piece of wood will become a part of furniture, carrying the memory of a family's life. In this process, we must not only consider functionality, but also retain the most beautiful side of wood - those unique textures and colors.

(Note: The master is using a machine to round the corners of the wood. The rounded corner design is also our little insistence to reduce the risk of injury due to collision)

Polishing: Temperature to the touch

If cutting is the first step of sculpture, then polishing is the process of giving furniture a soul. From rough sandpaper to delicate polishing, every step cannot be sloppy.

Every polishing is to prepare for the future touch, imagining that someone will touch these surfaces with their hands in the future, and what they will feel should be smooth and warm instead of rough.

Paint: protection and beautification

Painting is the most critical part of furniture making. It not only protects the wood, but also shows the natural beauty of the wood. We use high-quality ecological paint, which can protect the health of your family and show the texture of the wood perfectly.

Each layer of paint needs to be completely dry before the next step can be carried out. This waiting process tests our patience. But when we see the deep luster of the wood under the protection of the paint, all the waiting is worth it. This is just like life. True beauty always takes time to achieve.

Our rattan furniture is woven step by step by hand to ensure that every edge is presented delicately.

We take every piece of furniture seriously, and each style is carefully selected by us to be most suitable for Hong Kong people. We take into account the storage space needed for small apartments and the aesthetic decoration of large spaces.

Few people in Hong Kong are willing to work in the solid wood furniture industry. The market competition is fierce and we face many competitors with lower costs. Many consumers are attracted by the price and choose products with varying quality. However, we firmly believe that the true value does not lie in the lowest price, but in the quality assurance that is worth the money.

We will not sacrifice quality to reduce costs, nor will we use inferior materials or simplify the production process. On the contrary, we insist on providing high-quality solid wood furniture at a reasonable price, so that customers can enjoy the real cost-effectiveness. Although this persistence increases the difficulty of operation, it has won the trust and reputation of customers.

Our brand value is built on three pillars: cost-effective solid wood furniture, strict quality control, and high-quality after-sales service.

We provide not only furniture products, but also a complete service experience. From product selection, service consultation, professional delivery to installation services, every link is handled by a professional team. Our after-sales service team will carefully follow up on customer usage and provide maintenance advice and support.

We believe that when customers choose our products, they are not just choosing a piece of furniture, but an investment in the quality of life. Every piece of solid wood furniture that comes out of our factory carries our commitment to quality and our responsibility to our customers.
